Located in Nelson, BC, Canada, the West Kootenay Amateur Radio Club has been serving the Ham Radio community for over 50 years.
If you are interested in becoming licensed to operate an amateur radio, you'll need to take a test with either Lorne Goodwin (VE7 ADZ) in Nelson or VE7 YN aka Rudi Martini, our other accredited examiner in Castlegar. It's best to study for it first. You can start by learning from the free online course offered by Emergency Radio.
Radio Amateurs of Canada have a wide variety of study aids available for free or not.
